The geographical area of district Chamba is 6528 Sq.Kms. Its north
west frontier is bounded by the state Jammu & Kashimir and North
East and east by Bara Bhangal areas. On the south east and south
it is bounded by the district of Kangra and the Gurdaspur district
of Punjab. The economy of the district is agrarian.
